BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVES
In Ps. 110:3, it talks about God’s “willing” people. The word willing here means “capable.” Then it says this takes place in the day of His “power.” This is a very important concept in understanding the high calling God has for His people. In order for God to use His “great power” to work in us mightily, we must be prepared and capable.
[Psa 110:3 KJV] 3 Thy people [shall be] willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
The next few verses from Revelation 11 show how this will play out in our day.
[Rev 11:14-17 KJV] 14 The second woe is past; [and], behold, the third woe cometh quickly. 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. 16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
This same time is shown in Daniel 7 and Revelation 2.
[Dan 7:17-18 KJV] 17 These great beasts, which are four, [are] four kings, [which] shall arise out of the earth. 18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
[Rev 2:26-27 KJV] 26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
Psalm 2 and Daniel 7 show when the Father gave the inheritance to the Son.
[Psa 2:7-8 KJV] 7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee. 8 Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession.
[Dan 7:13-14 KJV] 13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, [one] like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. 14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion [is] an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom [that] which shall not be destroyed.
When we are born “from the womb of the morning,” as it says in Ps. 110:3, we will have our inheritance, and will have power over the nations. The song “From The Womb Of The Morning” gives a broader picture of what God is planning for His people.
